About INDIES
The Institute for National and Democratic Studies (INDIES) was formed in February 2006 to address some of the people sovereignty issues in Indonesia. Its establishment was facilitated by some individual members of the Indonesian social activist and academician. Our Vision is to Uphold people sovereignty through social movements. And the mission of INDIES is to uphold people sovereignty and facilitate social transformation through research, advocacy, education and networking activities.
